COVID19 and Caution
At Swift Urgent Care, your health and safety is our priority. That’s why we take the necessary steps to ensure that proper covid safety measures are upheld in our clinic at all times. This includes full time sanitization of our facilities and disinfection practices of the highest standards. Our employees maintain proper CDC recommendations at all times, including donning proper masks and materials when necessary.
“COVID-19 is a disease caused by a virus called SARS-CoV-2. Most people with COVID-19 have mild symptoms, but some people become severely ill.
Older adults and people who have certain underlying medical conditions are more likely to get severely ill. Post-COVID conditions are a wide range of health problems people can experience four or more weeks after first getting COVID-19. Even those who do not become severely ill from COVID-19 may experience post-COVID conditions.”

Testing
Early discovery of the coronavirus enables the patient to seek treatment right away, which highly improves the recovery process. In addition, isolating oneself as soon as possible will reduce the spread of infection to others.
Swift Urgent Care encourages anyone who has been exposed to Covid19 or is experiencing flu-like symptoms, such as bodily aches, fever, shortness of breath or a dry cough, to stop by and take a quick test. An appointment is not necessary in order for you to get tested; you can walk in and walk out in no time at all with the knowledge that you are protecting yourself and those around you.
You can get tested at Swift Urgent Care through any of the following methods:
- A Rapid Antigen Test OR a PCR Test:
These can determine if you currently have a coronavirus infection. Both are performed using a nasal swab.
If you require a PCR test for travel, we are here to provide you with quick and reliable results as usual. Please tell us if there are any specifications that are important for us to know regarding which type of test to perform as well as the date you plan to travel.
- Serum Antibody IgG
This test will determine if your body has built up antibodies for the coronavirus through a prior exposure or infection of COVID-19. There is a possible chance of immunity if the antibody test is positive. This test is performed through a blood sample.
- Rapid Antigen Test
Your results will be ready within 15-30 minutes, and will be provided to you while you’re still in-clinic.
- PCR Tests
Your results should be ready within the average turnaround time 24 hours, unless otherwise notified. Our receptionist will have you provide your contact information and you will be notified via email or text once your lab results are ready. As soon as your results are ready for viewing you will get a notification with a link to your patient portal.

Vaccinations
As per the CDC, COVID-19 vaccination helps protect you by creating an antibody response without you having to experience potentially severe illness or post-COVID conditions. Getting sick with COVID-19 can have serious consequences. In addition, a higher rate of vaccination significantly slows the spread of the coronavirus.
Swift Urgent Care has Covid19 Vaccines available for anyone over the age of 5. If you, your child, or your loved ones have not yet been vaccinated, call 7182185551 and make an appointment for a vaccine to ensure you are protecting their health.
We currently offer a range of recognized Covid Vaccines including Moderna and Johnson & Johnson, as well as the Pfizer Vaccine for ages 5-11.
For your benefit, we ask you to make an appointment before you come in to get vaccinated, so that we can be prepared to service you with utmost precision and speed. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the Covid Vaccine, reach out to us and we will be glad to be of assistance.
